The Valley Villagers were born two years ago when
the choir of their church went on vacation for the summer.
Starting with music from the soundtrack of
“O Brother Where Art Thou,” they added
gospel songs from Bill Monroe and
the Stanley Brothers, new
arrangements of traditional tunes and then personal favorites from the 60’s and 70’s.
Utilizing a blend of three and sometimes four-part harmony the Valley Villagers bring a unique vocal quality to their music.  The Valley Villagers is an award-winning band at local bluegrass festivals.
They performed at the Presbyterian Women’s Conference in July of 2004 and most recently at Boulevard Music in Culver City as guests of Robert David Hall, Dr. Robbins the Coroner on the hit TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
